Hot Yoga is yoga practiced in a heated room. Practicing yoga in a heated environment will help to detoxify your body by flushing toxins from the skin, warm your muscles from the outside in as well as increase the cardiovascular workout. The heat can also help with relaxation and concentration.
How to prepare for a Hot Yoga Class?
It is essential to hydrate your body prior to class, drink plenty of water throughout the day if you are planning on practicing hot yoga. Eating a large meal prior to any yoga class is not recommended. If you are unsure if yoga in a heated room is safe for your physical health please check with a health care professional.
